From the early Hohokam civilization to the imagined future, the story of Phoenix will be featured at New City Church as the Third Friday program on Friday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“The History of Phoenix in Nine Time Periods: Surviving and Thriving in Phoenix” will be presented by Carol Poore, Ph.D., president and founder of the Phoenix Phabulous Mural collection. Presentation times are on the hour at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Through photos, stories and the murals, she will bring to life each Phoenix time period. Details here.
